This is just some food for thought I guess.  I’m trying to wrap my mind around the fact that Take-Two said there not releasing any DLC for Grand Theft Auto 4 until early 2009. Now the reason this is so strange to me is that they just announced they has a profit of USD 98.2 Million. They also said in that same report that

“78 per cent of its total publishing revenue for the quarter came from GTA IV and catalog sales of prior GTA titles”. -

This same time last year they reported a LOSS of USD 51.3 million bucks! So now your talking about making people wait. And yes I mean the 20 people left still playing GTA4 in 9 months till they get the FIRST bit of DLC for the game. And this is the DLC for there BIGGEST money maker. And there reason for this is development problems its because of there 33 game portfolio of future games. I’m pretty much willing to bet that there isn’t a $76 million dollar game in there.

So I guess I’m just curious as too who has there head up there ass and exactly how tight is the fit?

UPDATE: a few places have reported speaking to Microsoft who says the DLC for GTA 4 is still on track. I’m assuming the two haven’t spoken yet.
