The E3 Monster

So me and my brother was talking about the state of E3 and how it just keeps falling further and further off the grid and all i could do was think of a old school movie that most should have seen by now or atleast seen remakes of Frankenstein! Now for those who need a recap..Dr. Frankenstein wanted to recreate life,he used parts of other people to peice together a man..or atleast a shell of one lol..and give it life. After creating it/him he went out and got out of control, then folks came and wanted to do away with them both...."Kill the creature...kill the monster...destroy it" they yelled.
Which brings me to present time,E3 was a place for all who loved gaming to come together and check out things for themselves before they hit the shelves. Mostly for press and developers but it started to become more widespread,it got bigger and bigger each year..and they allowed it..then all of sudden they slapped a muzzle on it and then it became...oh my god..dare i say it...LAME. Developers started backing out or dropping off all the way,i mean think about it....what good is creating a monster if you and your crew are the only ones whos going to enjoy it. You let it loose (or it escapes) unto the world for others to like it..fear it..or want it. E3 allowed people to get a hands on feel of the game..sure we can read about it..watch trailers and videos but what good is it?
Put the game in your hands and its another realm, plus you can help the game out with hype by bragging to friends you got to try out that kick ass game before them. Hell i’m sure they was pulling in all types of revenues with folks staying at hotels, shopping, eating and more while they was there.Heres a word of advice good folks at E3..unchain the beast and allow it to run free on the land it claimed and im sure things will be good once more in the land.
